Law enforcement agencies killed eight terrorists in a combing operation carried out in a tribal area of DG Khan, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials said on Thursday night.
According to the LEAs officials the terrorists were planning to attack some sensitive installation when they were killed in the combing operation in Tomiwala tribal village near Sakhi Sarwar. Three terrorists, however, managed to escape, and the law enforcers were chasing them.
Three hand grenades, an automatic rifle and four pistols were recovered from their possession. Officials said that the process to identify the terrorists was in progress.
