PTI Chairman Imran Khan has said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has itself admitted that general elections were rigged.
Addressing to the PTI Azadi March at D-chowk, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan claimed that the report put on the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) website confirmed all the allegations he had been levelling about the rigging in the general elections 2013.
He said “ECP itself admitted what we’ve been saying for several months and report has made me very happy.”
He further added that “Free and fair election is the foundation of a democracy. Why is government afraid of opening four constituencies?”
The PTI chief said that election’s rigging would be proved when Farm 14 was made public.
While giving credit to PTI supporters he said “Whom should I congratulate for the ousting of this report? You and your sit-in”
“People are waking up, will fight for the rights of the poor for the first time”.
Imran Khan once again lambast at the former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, terming him the ‘Mir Jafar of Pakistan’s democracy’.
