REDWOOD CITY, California: The EA FC 27 Closed Beta will begin on August 5 and remain available until August 25, according to invitation materials sent to prospective playtesters.
The invite-only test will open at 5 pm UTC. That corresponds to 7 pm CEST, 6 pm BST, 1 pm EDT and 10 am PDT. Players in Pakistan can access it from 10 pm PKT.
Servers will close at the same regional times on August 25. The schedule gives selected participants almost three weeks to test the football game remotely.
Invited players will be able to download the beta one day before testing begins. That places the download date on August 4, although the invitation material does not provide an exact release time.
Electronic Arts expects to send confirmation emails to selected applicants by July 31. The message will contain download instructions and other access details, according to Insider Gaming’s report.
Receiving a registration survey does not guarantee access. EA selects participants based on the requirements of each playtest.
Players can join the EA Playtesting program, update their profiles and apply for available sessions. EA says eligible applicants receive surveys about their gaming habits before the company chooses suitable participants.

The publisher advises applicants to monitor their inboxes after applying. Its official Playtesting FAQ says legitimate emails come only from addresses ending in @ea.com or @e.ea.com.
EA has not published the FC 27 beta schedule on its public support pages. Therefore, the dates remain based on invitation materials reported by gaming media.
