Rapper Drake set a new Drake Billboard record after securing his 15th No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, passing Michael Jackson’s mark for the most No. 1 hits by a male solo artist.
The milestone came with the debut of Drake’s latest album, “ICEMAN,” which opened at No. 1. Jackson had previously held the benchmark with 13 No. 1 hits.
The result adds to Drake’s long chart run in the streaming era. The Toronto artist now has 14 No. 1 albums and 15 No. 1 singles.
Drake marked the achievement on Instagram by displaying his chart resume inside his home. The setup showed his No. 1 albums and singles arranged as a tribute to his discography.
He captioned the post: “Neck broke from carrying the chain, back broke from carrying the game.”
