Former Speaker of the National Assembly and incumbent MNA Dr. Fehmida Mirza has stated that, “a task has been given to Sindh Home Minister Sohail Anwar Sial to harm her family specially her husband, former Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza.”

In an exclusive interview with popular national daily, “The News International”, Dr Fehmida Mirza said the Sindh government is totally involved in pre-poll rigging and wanted to win the local government elections at any cost even at the cost of human lives as had been done in Daraza, Khairpur, on October 31.

Dr Fehmida said that in any case of loss to any of her family member, the Sindh Home Minister, Sohail Anwar Sial, and Sindh government will be responsible.Replying to a question, she said that everyone knows who is behind Sohail Anwar Sial.

Dr Fehmida Mirza said that she has appealed to human rights organisations like Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, chief justices of the Supreme Court and Sindh High Court, Army chief and Sindh Rangers director general to notice the barbarian acts of the Sindh government and Sindh police, and should take immediate action to save her husband, her family and also the peaceful district of Sindh, Badin.

Dr Fehmida said that she has credible information that a conspiracy has been made to eliminate her family, so she as an MNA appealed at her forum to save her family and her husband’s lives.

She said that on Tuesday SSP Badin Abrar Nekokara had threatened her son MPA Husnain Mirza, so higher authorities and apex courts should take notice and a criminal case should be registered against SSP Nekokara who is serving the illegal interests of the provincial government instead of doing his legitimate job.

Dr Fehmida criticised the role of local officers of election commission, Returning Officers, district management and Sindh police for their alleged role in supporting ruling party candidates and their supporters.

Quoting ta decision of the Sindh High Court, Dr Fehmida Mirza appealed to the federal government to provide security of Rangers to her family to avoid probable loss to her family. She said that earlier on the directions of the Sindh government and Home Minister Sial, the police had planned to harm her husband Dr Mirza on the premises of Sindh High Court But due to effective steps of the federal government and Rangers the conspiracy was foiled.
