The Economic Coordination Committee approved donkey meat export and hides export from the Gwadar Donkey Slaughterhouse on Monday, the Finance Division said.
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb chaired the ECC meeting at the Finance Division.
The committee approved a proposal from the National Food Security & Research Division for the disposal of existing inventory in accordance with applicable regulations and export protocols.
The ECC also approved Rs 100 million for the Cannabis Control and Regulatory Authority under the Cabinet Division to renovate and operationalise its facilities.

The committee cleared Rs 311 million for the Government of Balochistan to support a Prime Minister-approved incentive package for PAS and PSP officers posted in the province.
The ECC approved Rs 372 million for the National Accountability Bureau under the Ministry of Law and Justice for digital transformation and AI-based systems.
The committee also cleared Rs 30 million for the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination to reward the Pakistan national hockey team for qualifying for the FIH Hockey World Cup after eight years.
The ECC referred the Power Division’s Public Service Obligation agreement with Ex-WAPDA Distribution Companies to the Cabinet Committee on State-Owned Enterprises.
