Diddy Reportedly Caught with Homemade Alcohol in Prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly encountered trouble at Fort Dix prison. According to a TMZ report, officials caught the music mogul consuming a homemade alcoholic beverage.

The 56-year-old, currently serving a four-year sentence for prostitution-related charges, allegedly made the drink from sugar, Fanta soda, and apples. Prisoners typically ferment these ingredients for two weeks to create an illicit alcohol.

This incident has created friction with prison authorities. However, conflicting reports indicate that officials may not have taken formal disciplinary action.

Initial sources suggested the incident would lead to a unit transfer for Combs. But TMZ later updated its report, stating that correctional officers reversed this decision. He will now remain in his original housing unit. A prison official, when contacted for comment, stated they had “no information” about the alleged event.

The reported alcohol violation directly contrasts with Combs’ recent court statements. Before his sentencing last month, he wrote a heartfelt letter to Judge Arun Subramanian.

In the letter, he expressed deep remorse and a commitment to sobriety. “I can’t change the past, but I can change the future,” Combs wrote. He described his incarceration as a period of “spiritual reset” and vowed to become a “drug-free, non-violent, and peaceful person.”

The Manhattan federal court sentenced Combs on October 3, 2025. He received a term of four years and two months, along with a $500,000 fine. The court also mandated his participation in substance abuse and mental health programs.

He began his sentence at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn before transferring to Fort Dix in New Jersey last week. Despite the circumstances, he has maintained a positive demeanour, recently celebrating his 56th birthday behind bars.
