This attack comes in the wake of recent successful operations by security forces against terrorist groups in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), extensive intelligence-based operations since December 9 have resulted in the neutralization of 43 terrorists, significantly disrupting terrorist networks in the region.

The ISPR has reiterated the security forces’ commitment to continue these operations until peace is fully restored and the threat of terrorism is eliminated from Pakistan.
