Three gangsters stormed into a West Delhi showroom in broad daylight, delivered an extortion note to the owner, fired several shots in the air, and then walked out.
A CCTV camera captured the brazen act, which occurred under the full gaze of the public. Sources indicate these individuals are affiliated with the Jitendra Gogi gang. Since Jitendra Gogi’s death at Rohini court in 2021, the gang has been led by his associate, Deepak Boxer, who is currently incarcerated.
The CCTV footage revealed three masked individuals approaching the showroom’s entrance, one wearing a helmet and carrying a paper. Upon entering, his accomplices began shooting into the air, sparking panic. The trio quickly exited the showroom, continuing to fire shots as they left.
The extortion note featured a photo of Gogi with another gangster, Kuldeep Fajja, and mentioned names like “Yogesh Dhaiya,” “Fajje Bhai,” and “Monti Mann,” with a demand for “10 Cr.” Police sources report that such extortion tactics have become more frequent, posing a direct challenge to Delhi Police. Following this incident and two related shootings in Nangloi and Alipur, a police investigation is underway, with efforts to apprehend the culprits intensifying.
