XENIA, Ohio, United States: The Walmart ban on Damon Darling followed repeated disruptions, the retailer said. Walmart denied that his grocery giveaways caused the lifetime ban.
Walmart told Snopes that Darling’s conduct created safety concerns and disrupted customers during the previous two years.
Darling posted a video on August 11 showing a police officer enforcing a lifetime trespass order. The clip did not establish when Walmart first issued the order.
A YouTube video from April 11, 2025, showed officers approaching Darling at a Walmart in Xenia. They told him that a trespass order covered every Walmart store.

The earlier footage indicates the ban predated the viral 2026 grocery-payment claim by more than one year. TMZ reported that older videos showed Darling staging falls, throwing items and pouring milk over himself inside stores.
