Dadu police has issued a terror alert in Dadu on Monday and released photographs of four suspected terrorists.

According to ‘Express Tribune Pakistan’ Dadu Senior Superintendent Police (SSP), Shabbir Ahmed Sethar has ordered his force to beef up security at public places.

The suspected terrorist  may target markets, mosque, and the entry and exit points of the district and its headquarters city.

The official has appealed to citizens to remain vigilant. The four suspects are of Afghan origin.

“We have information that the terrorists will enter or have already entered Dadu,” the SSP said.

On February 16, in the neighbouring Sehwan, a suicide bomber blew himself up at the shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, killing 90 people dead and injuring several others.

Two suspects believed to have facilitated the Sehwan bomber were arrested in Dadu.
