Currency Exchange Rates: US Dollar Selling at Rs279.90

KARACHI: Currency exchange rates in Pakistan’s open market put the US dollar at Rs278.65 buying and Rs279.90 selling on July 9, 2026.

The Euro stood at Rs309.40 buying and Rs312.00 selling. The UK pound sterling traded at Rs365.20 buying and Rs369.00 selling.

The UAE dirham was quoted at Rs75.60 buying and Rs76.25 selling. The Saudi riyal stood at Rs 73.80 buying and Rs 74.45 selling.

Among Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar remained the highest-valued unit at Rs903.45 buying and Rs908.53 selling. The Bahrain dinar traded at Rs732.60 buying and Rs740.60 selling. The Omani riyal stood at Rs723.13 buying and Rs727.21 selling. The Qatari riyal was quoted at Rs 76.44 buying and Rs 77.14 selling.

Among other major currencies, the Swiss franc traded at Rs324.00 buying and Rs328.94 selling.

The Canadian dollar stood at Rs202.65 buying and Rs207.00 selling. The Singapore dollar traded at Rs201.75 buying and Rs203.75 selling.

Open-market rates can change throughout the day due to supply, demand and interbank movements.
