Karachi: At least four militants of Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swati Group were killed in late Saturday night with an encounter Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) personnels in Baldia Town.
According to CTD sources, CTD team on a tip-off raided an area in Ittehad Town around midnight, but militants attacked on CTD team.
CTD official also added that, CTD team didn’t anticipate the surprise crossfire, however, immediate reinforcement was called.
Police captured four terrorists in injured state. The extremists were being transported to hospital when they yielded to their injuries and passed away.
According to incharge CTD Ali Raz, the deceased include the local commander of the TTP.
