Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested three terrorists including a suicide bomber and recovered a suicide jacket, a hand grenade and weapons from their possession.
According to CTD, the arrested terrorist had made plan for terrorism in Karachi has been thwarted.
In-charge CTD Ali Raza while talking to media said police carried out raid on tip-off in Manghopir and arrested a suspected suicide bomber Taj Muhammed alias Salman, Saifur Rehman and Adil in encounter.
Police claimed that the suspected suicide bomber had in 2014 left for attack in Punjab, but the attack was foiled in police encounter near Mehmood Kot Road in Muzaffargarh in which his four accomplices were killed.
The accused belonged to Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Swat faction.
