Since relocating to Saudi Arabia in January 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo has continued his legendary performance and set new football benchmarks.

Cristiano Ronaldo, 39, the Portuguese superstar, shows no signs of slowing down, consistently breaking records and redefining excellence. Here are Cristiano Ronaldo’s records at Al-Nassr, highlighting six incredible milestones he has achieved while playing in Asia

1. Unprecedented Scoring Against Diverse Opponents

Ronaldo scored a historic milestone by scoring against Al Qadisiyah in November, marking goals against 200 different opponents, the first in football history. This record includes 152 club teams and 48 national teams. Remarkably, he has scored 27 goals in 18 matches against Sevilla, making them his most frequent club victim. Luxembourg is his preferred international target, with Ronaldo netting 11 goals in 11 matches.

2. Record Goals in a Single Saudi Pro League Season

In the 2023-24 season, Ronaldo set a new Saudi Pro League record by scoring 35 goals, surpassing Abderrazak Hamdallah’s previous record of 34 goals for Al-Nassr in the 2018-19 season. He achieved this impressive feat with an average of one goal every 75.6 minutes.

3. Golden Boot Winner in Four Top-flight Leagues

Ronaldo’s Golden Boot win in the 2023-24 season made him the first player to claim this accolade in four top-flight leagues. His collection includes awards from leagues in England, Spain, Italy, and now Saudi Arabia, highlighting his versatile and sustained scoring prowess.

4. Top Scorer of 2023 Worldwide

Ronaldo was the highest-scoring player globally in 2023, netting 54 goals across all competitions for club and country. This marked the fourth time he finished a year as the world’s top scorer, a testament to his enduring skills and competitive spirit.

5. Record-Setting European Scorer for Al-Nassr

While Ronaldo has yet to reach Majed Abdullah’s club record of 259 goals, he holds the title of the highest-scoring European in Al-Nassr’s history with 59 league goals, surpassing other notable European players since 2000.

6. Most Career Hat-tricks by an Active Player

Ronaldo has added six hat-tricks to his career tally at Al-Nassr, bringing it to 66. This achievement places him ahead of any other active player, with Lionel Messi trailing at 59 career hat-tricks.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to Saudi Arabia has been nothing short of spectacular. He continues to challenge records and elevate his legacy. His impact extends beyond the pitch, influencing upcoming talents and drawing global attention to the Saudi Pro League.
