Cristiano Ronaldo arrived in Riyadh Monday night before his Al Nassr physical and unveiling on Tuesday.

Portugal’s footballing superstar and former Manchester United forward is to be unveiled at 7 pm local time in the Saudi capital. Saudi Sports Company (SSC) will live telecast Ronaldo’s debut at Mrsool Park.

Thousands of fans will attend Ronaldo’s Tuesday debut. Al-Nassr head coach Rudi Garcia is also anticipated to attend.

Ronaldo, 37, looks happy after landing at a Saudi airport. He waved to his fans. Then, he posed for photos with kids who gave him flowers.

Ronaldo has met new fans before. He addressed Al Nassr’s followers on social media before Monday’s flight.

Sharing an Instagram story on Monday, the cheerful Portuguese superstar winked and said, “Hi people, see you soon!”

The club announced the news on Instagram with the caption ‘Cristiano is yellow’ and a photo of him celebrating.

Ronaldo’s wife, Georgina Rodriguez, posted Instagram photos of the plane to Saudi Arabia. The 28-year-old model captioned her photos ‘Not without me!’

The veteran and his family will stay in a luxurious hotel in Riyadh while he seeks a home.

Ronaldo left Manchester United in November following an ugly interview with Piers Morgan in which he criticized the club and manager Erik ten Hag.

Al Nassr is set to ‘create a fiesta’ like Ronaldo’s Real Madrid unveiling in 2009, according to Arriyadiyah.
