A couple and two children were slaughtered in Manzoor Colony, Karachi late night yesterday.
According to rescue official, the incident took place in Mazoor Colony where a couple along with their teenage son and a daughter were brutally slaughtered inside their home and later on their home was torched while the assailants fled away.
Lucky one of the children, Hammad, 2, remained unhurt.
One of the eyewitness told local media news channels that neighbors rushed to the scene and recovered the bodies of the victims from the house and later on police sent them to the hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The deceased were identified as Tariq, 43, Samina, 40, 15-year-old boy Saad and eight-year-old girl Romesa. The couple was living in a rented house and Tariq was a teacher by profession.
Police examined the crime scene and commenced investigation to ascertain motives behind the murders.
