Karachi: A list consisting of the names of 350 high level figures including corrupt government officials and politicians has been readied, as the ongoing targeted Karachi operation is all set to enter its second phase.
Formal approval has been given for the next phase of the Karachi operation in which economic terrorism will be rooted out and corrupt high-ups including bureaucrats and politicians will be brought to book.
It should be mentioned here that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have also been green-signaled in this connection. Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhry has flown into Karachi after having a number of vital meetings in the federal capital.
The NAB chief will preside over a significant meeting today in Karachi.
