Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Thursday said Pakistan is a peaceful country and Pakistan Army is fully capable to retaliate internal and external challenges.
Addressing air cadets in a ceremony held at Risalpur Academy of Pakistan Air Force (PAF), COAS urges the international community should condemn the distortion of facts by India regarding held Kashmir and the LoC.
In a firm an clear-cut message to India, General Raheel stated, “Any aggression or strategic miscalculation on the part of our enemy will meet the most befitting response.”
“We have recently witnessed an unfortunate display of utter desperation playing out inside occupied Kashmir and along the Line of Control through a litany of falsehood and distortion of facts by India,”
“Pakistan is a responsible country and remains committed to the policy of friendship with all other countries based on equality and mutual respect.”
“Any aggression born out of deliberate intent or even a strategic miscalculation will not be allowed to go unpunished and will be met with a befitting response.”
Extending heartfelt felicitations to the passing-out cadets, the COAS said Pakistan desires good relations with all its neighbours but nobody should mistake our collective resolve to defend the motherland.
General Raheel Sharif asserted, “Pakistan is a responsible country and remains committed to follow the policy of friendship with all other countries on the basis of mutual respect and equality. However, the armed forces are fully prepared to give the most befitting response to any internal and external threat posed to our nation.”
Pakistan’s Air Force has no competitor when it comes to professional capabilities, he lauded the air force.
