Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa to chair the 19th Sindh Apex Committee meeting today.
According to local news channel ‘Geo News’ this would be the first time the COAS to chair a meeting of the apex committee in Karachi.
Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and other senior civil and military officials will be part of the meeting.
Sources said items on the meeting agenda of the highest security body of the province include reviewing the security at Central Jail, Karachi as well as the recent escape of suspected terrorists from Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. (PhotoNews /Geo News)
