The Co-Chairman of American Muslim Democratic Caucus, (a recognized caucus of Democratic Party for Muslims) and a prominent community leader Mr. Syed Fayyaz Hassan has been admitted to a local hospital in Dallas due to a sudden illness.
According to initial medical reports, he has pulmonary embolism (blood clots in lungs) in both sides of his lungs. According to doctors treating him, he is in a stable condition and is in recovery now.
A large number of political, social and community leaders in US and in Dallas Fort Worth area have contacted his family to enquire on the health and well-being of Mr. Hassan.
