A British newspaper has stated that United States Senate has said that several Al-Qaeda members were allegedly tortured by Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in detention.
A British newspaper has stated that the medical condition of several Al-Qaeda detainees is critical. It further mentions that the people who were tortured include mastermind of 9/11 attacks Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, close accomplice of Osama Bin Laden Abu Zubaydah and Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri.
The senator who prepared the report has said that the details of the torture carried out by CIA are (truly) “horrific”.
