Chiara Dell’Abate, a 22-year-old from Italy known by her social media username Aydin Mod, has gained significant attention for her desire to transform into a cat. According to the New York Post, she has undergone 20 body modifications to pursue her goal. Her journey began with a piercing at age 11 and has since garnered millions of views on her TikTok videos that showcase her transformation.
Currently, Chiara boasts around 72 piercings, including some unique ones like punched nostrils, split tongue, significant upper lip piercings, and inner labia piercings. “I’m thinking I would be a pretty cool cat lady,” she expressed, even playfully demonstrating her split tongue through piercings above her lips.
Extensive Body Modifications and Future Plans
In addition to her piercings, Chiara has undergone blepharoplasty, a surgical procedure that modifies the eye region. She also has multiple body modifications, including four horns, six genital beads, eyeball tattoos, pointed ears, permanent eyeliner, forehead implants, and claw-like nails. A daring step in her journey was the removal of her nipples to achieve a more cat-like appearance.
Describing her passion, she mentioned, “It’s crazy to see how much the human body can change and what you can achieve from body modifications.” While she feels she’s on the right track, Chiara believes she has more to do to achieve her desired cat-like look. This includes procedures like cat eye lifts, teeth reshaping, adding more fillers, and attaching a tail using transdermal. She also plans on getting a slit into her septum.
Overcoming Criticism and Embracing True Self
While many admire her dedication, others have been critical, with some even labelling her as “disturbed.” Despite the mixed reactions, Chiara remains unapologetic about her choices. “Through them (body mods), I feel free to stay true to myself, regardless of what people think. They make me feel good, and that’s what matters,” she affirms. Gratefully, she also receives messages of support and inspiration, which encourage her to keep going on her unique path.
