Actress and model Carmen Electra has returned to Playboy for its Summer 2026 issue, three decades after her debut, and has opened up about what she wants in a future relationship.
Electra, 54, first appeared in Playboy in 1996 at age 24. Speaking to Fox News Digital about her latest appearance, she said she remains open-minded about the age and circumstances of a potential partner.
The “Baywatch” star said she could date someone younger or someone who already has children. Electra recalled previously dating a father and becoming close to his daughter before that relationship ended.
However, financial status is not a priority for her. Electra said she works hard and earns her own money, adding that she is primarily looking for someone with good character and shared interests.
She also said partners do not need to have identical personalities or interests. Electra believes differences can strengthen a relationship as long as the couple has enough in common and can learn from each other.
Electra has previously been married twice. She married former NBA player Dennis Rodman in November 1998, but the marriage ended the following year. She later married Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro in 2003. They separated in 2006 and finalised their divorce in 2007.

The entertainer also told Fox News Digital that work remains a major source of confidence and happiness for her. Discussing her return to Playboy, she rejected the idea that age should limit professional opportunities, saying people should not accept claims that they are “too old” to pursue them.
