Canadian Parliament has approved a resolution to carry out airstrikes against the Islamic State of Iraq and Greater Syria (ISIS) in Syria and Iraq.
Canadian Parliament has passed a resolution by voting in favour of the airstrikes against ISIS . 157 lawmakers voted in favour of airstrike out of 291.
Addressing on this occasion, Canadian Prime Minister Steven Harper said that ISIS is an international threat and his country is not safe from the Islamic militant group as well.
After the approval, Canada is expected sending troops, fighter jets and other resources to join the fight against ISIS.
Canadian troops will join the coalition forces of the United States against the radical Islamic group.
