Lahore : Bullet riddled body of a policeman shot dead by unknown persons was recovered from a park here on Monday.
Police said that dead body of Constable Imran serving in Qillah Gujjar Singh police station was found in a park of Dharmpura adjacent to the canal. The deceased hailing from Samanabad area of Lahore was shot in head and his body was dumped in the park.
The body was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police said that a case has been registered into the incident and investigation from both aspects whether it was suicide or murder was underway.
