South Korean pop group BTS will launch a New York takeover from July 24 through August 3 ahead of two sold-out concerts at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG NEW YORK” programme will illuminate Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Centre and the Korean Cultural Centre in the tour’s signature red, according to the event announcement.
Fans can visit “ARMY Madang” gathering spaces at Grand Central and the Korean Cultural Centre. Activities will include T-shirt customisation, light-stick decoration, special screenings and an exhibition of stage outfits worn by BTS members.
The programme also features a themed bus tour, a digital art experience at Arte Museum New York, a K-pop club night at Marquee and a stamp rally across participating locations.
Bank of Hope Manhattan will host merchandise and photo zones. Each stamp-rally check-in will trigger a USD 1 donation to Hope Delivered, an initiative supporting financial literacy education.
Several New York restaurants, including Van Leeuwen, Black Tap, Tous les Jours, Kim’s Kimbap and Liberty Bagels, will offer limited-time “ARIRANG”-themed menu items.
The MetLife Stadium concerts will begin the second US leg of the “ARIRANG World Tour.” The tour opened in Seoul in April and will continue through 2027 with stops in Foxborough, Baltimore, Arlington, Chicago and Inglewood.

The tour supports BTS’s album “ARIRANG,” the group’s first release in four years following the completion of mandatory military service by RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its March 20 release. BTS released its second single, “NORMAL,” on July 17.
