Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly asked for no direct contact with his parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.
According to a Daily Mail report published on Thursday, the 26-year-old chef and his parents exchanged letters last summer. These were only through their respective legal teams. Brooklyn allegedly made it clear that he did not want his parents to contact him personally or comment about him on social media. Instead, he requested that all communication go through his lawyers.
Sources claim the decision followed Brooklyn’s frustration over briefings. These suggested his wife, Nicola Peltz, was “controlling” him and that he was a “hostage” in the relationship. One insider told the outlet that David was instructed to communicate solely via the law firm Schillings. This reportedly became the only channel of contact.
Representatives for Brooklyn and David Beckham did not immediately respond to media requests for comment.

The reported rift became more visible last month when Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz Beckham, claimed that Brooklyn had blocked both him and their parents on Instagram. Cruz publicly denied suggestions. These indicated that David and Victoria had blocked their eldest son, writing that their parents “would never unfollow their son.”

Despite the tension, David Beckham later shared an Instagram Story featuring a photo with Brooklyn. He included a message expressing gratitude to his family and love for all four of his children, including Romeo Beckham and Harper Beckham. Victoria Beckham also reshared the post, which included Brooklyn.
However, sources suggest reconciliation remains unlikely in the near term. In October, an insider told Us Weekly that Brooklyn had “no interest” in repairing relations with the Beckham family. This followed their falling out last year. The source added that he is currently focused on building a peaceful and drama-free life with his wife.
As of now, the family dispute appears unresolved, with communication reportedly limited to formal legal channels.
