Renowned celebrity Britney Spears and her spouse Sam Asghari recently attracted attention because they chose not to wear their wedding rings.
Spears, who is currently vacationing in Mexico with her friend and manager, Cade Hudson, Asghari remains in Los Angeles, where he works on a project.
The Daily Mail obtained photographs of Spears at LAX airport without her wedding ring, carrying a teddy bear and boarding an SUV en route to Cabo. Asghari was also seen without his wedding band while walking away from a car valet service on Thursday. Nonetheless, a source has confirmed that Asghari removed his ring for his ongoing film project, dispelling rumors of marital issues.
Spears and Asghari tied the knot in June 2022, and their marriage appeared stable until gossip emerged about Spears’ health and well-being. Then, in January, people became concerned for Spears after she appeared upset at a restaurant due to fans invading and recording her privacy.
Fans subsequently requested a wellness check on the pop star from the police. However, spears denied having a “breakdown” and reassured her fans that she was progressing.
Spears’ health and well-being have been a topic of considerable debate recently. She was under a conservatorship from 2008 to 2021, which granted her father and a financial institution authority over her personal and financial matters. Spears has been battling to terminate the conservatorship and reclaim control of her life, drawing significant media and fan attention.
Asghari has been a steadfast partner to Spears throughout her difficulties, and he recently issued a statement confirming that the intervention planned over concerns for Spears’ health did not occur. He also stressed that Spears has complete control of her life and will continue to make all decisions related to her care, regardless of the situation.
Despite the rumors and conjecture about their marriage, Spears and Asghari seemed content just last month. The couple posted pictures of themselves dressed in matching outfits for a shopping trip to Target. In addition, spears refuted a claim that she had “almost died” before her family’s unsuccessful intervention.
Asghari also supported his wife, urging fans not to believe everything they read.
