British High Commissioner meets CM, Governor Punjab

British High Commissioner Philip Barton met with the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar to discuss and promote bilateral relationship on Friday.

Philip Barton said Britain gives a lot of importance to its relationship with Pakistan and would continue collaborating in the country’s progress and development.

CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif mentioned that Skill Development Program is successfully running in Punjab with the assistance of Department for International Development (DFID) and Punjab has achieved satisfactory outcomes regarding school reform road-map.

He also told that extensive public health program has also been initiated.

Philip Barton also met with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and discussed the current political situation.
