Boxer Amir Khan Alleges Model Sumaira ‘Blackmailed Him To Extort £20,000

British-Pakistani boxer, Amir Khan, has recently been thrown into the spotlight due to allegations made against him by an Asian bridal model known as Sumaira.

Sumaira accused Khan of infidelity, claiming that he had engaged in explicit conversation with her over several weeks while being married to his British-Pakistani wife, Faryal Makhdoom. Khan has since responded to these allegations, stating that Sumaira is blackmailing him after he refused to pay her £20,000.

According to Khan, Sumaira sold her story to a British tabloid, resulting in public controversy. Khan explained his version of events in an exclusive interview with the local news channel Geo News. He claimed that Sumaira initiated the conversation, expressing her discontent with her family and asking him questions about her tattoos and religious faith.

Khan claims, Sumaira began sending revealing photos and discussed her desire for cosmetic enhancements. He insisted he was not impressed by these photos and had not asked for them.

The Alleged £20,000 Extortion

Amid their conversation, Khan said Sumaira requested £20,000 from him, supposedly to correct a problem with her hand. When Khan refused to provide the money and encouraged her to find employment, she allegedly brought her story to the press.

Khan refutes the idea that he spoke against his wife or insinuated their marriage was solely for business reasons. According to Khan, Sumaira asked to meet in person but did not intend or desire to do so. He ended their conversation by reiterating his marital status and expressing regret over Sumaira’s actions.

Sumaira’s allegations paint a different picture, with claims that the boxer initiated contact online and complimented her tattoos, sparking a discussion about her appearance. She also alleges that Khan invited her for a night out in London. However, Khan stands firm in his denial, asserting that his casual online interactions do not amount to infidelity or misconduct. As of now, there is no response from Sumaira’s full account over the controversy.

The additional News feed was taken from GEO News.
