The bodybuilding fraternity is reeling from the untimely demise of renowned bodybuilder Justyn Vicky, 33, whose life was abruptly ended by a devastating accident at Paradise Gym in Bali. News of his shocking death has left the local fitness community in disbelief and grief.

Justyn Vicky’s Tragic Accident

The fatal event transpired during an arduous training session on the previous Saturday. Justyn Vicky, a respected and beloved figure in the bodybuilding world, was grappling with an imposing barbell, its weight exceeding 200 kilograms. A fellow athlete stood by his side, alert to prevent any mishap.

Regrettably, things spiralled out of control. As he endeavoured to maintain his grip on the barbell at the start of his routine, Vicky’s legs buckled, triggering a catastrophic fall.

The colossal weight plunged onto his shoulders before continuing its fatal path to his neck and head, inflicting grave injuries.

According to Bali Discovery reports, the impact of the barbell on Vicky’s head was so brutal that it jolted him forward, resulting in a neck fracture that endangered vital nerves connected to his heart and respiratory functions.

Despite being rapidly transported to the hospital, the severity of his injuries was overwhelming. Despite physicians’ tireless efforts to save his life, Vicky succumbed to his injuries.

Following the tragedy, Vicky’s dear friend Kang Gede expressed his sorrow in a poignant statement to Bali Express:

“Vicky was a formidable, respectful, and friendly person. He imparted his knowledge about bodybuilding and offered advice to his friends, urging them to care for themselves and not exceed their limits. Only you know your capabilities, he would say. I hope Vicky rests peacefully, close to God, and finds the respect he rightly deserves in the afterlife.”
