A boat carrying 97 people overturned about two nautical miles off the western coast of Malaysia, a media report said here on Wednesday. Thirty-one people were rescued but others remained missing.
It was a wooden boat which capsized near Sungai Air Hitam off the western coast of Malaysia.
The fire and rescue department personnel are on the spot.
