Binance stock trading launched Monday with access to more than 7,000 US stocks and exchange-traded funds through the crypto exchange’s app, the company said.
The company said customers can buy fractional shares with as little as USD 5. It also said users can trade US stocks and ETFs 24 hours a day on weekdays.
The launch expands Binance beyond digital assets and into traditional financial markets. It comes as crypto platforms add more products to keep customers within a single app.
Binance joins rivals already offering both crypto and traditional investment access. Coinbase Global Inc. (COIN) and Robinhood Markets Inc. (HOOD) also serve customers across digital assets and equities.
