The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) announced the results for the 12th Class Humanities Private Annual Examinations 2025, with an overall pass rate of 45.39%. Notably, female students secured the top three positions.

BIEK said 2,791 students registered for the Humanities Private Group exams, and 2,615 appeared. Out of these, 1,187 students passed, resulting in a pass rate of 45.39%. Among those who passed, one received an A-1 grade, 63 earned an A, 252 received a B, 417 earned a C, 383 received a D, and 46 received an E.

Female students led the top ranks. Kiran, roll number 35719, came first with a score of 79.64%. Areeba, roll number 35844, took second place with a score of 79.27%. Alfiya Shah claimed third with 78.55%. BIEK Chairman Fakir Muhammad Lakho congratulated the winners and their families. A ceremony will be held soon to honour these students.

Students can check their results on BIEK’s official website or download the board’s app from the Android Play Store. The process is simple and straightforward, allowing students to quickly view their scores. The app has been downloaded 10,000 times since the results were released.

The BIEK results demonstrate the competitiveness of Karachi’s education system. The success of female students reflects the growing trend of gender equality in education. Women now make up 52% of higher education students in Pakistan. These results come after the Federal Public Service Commission’s CSS 2025 exam, where only 2.77% of 12,792 candidates passed.

The 45.39% pass rate indicates that the exams are challenging, but top students like Kiran inspire others. The strong performance of women in top places may encourage more girls to continue their education, especially in Karachi, where 1.2 million students are enrolled.
