Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, promptly refuted the allegations, labelling them as “heinous” and urging the accuser to pursue criminal charges instead of a civil suit.
“These alleged victims merit true justice if there is any veracity to these claims. I urge you to bring criminal charges against anyone capable of such acts,” Carter stated, according to NBC News.

As quoted by Page Six, reports from insiders indicate that Beyoncé “wholeheartedly believes” in Jay-Z’s innocence and remains steadfast in her support.
