Singer Beyoncé Knowles-Carter shaved rapper Jay-Z’s head in an introduction video shown before his three-show career celebration at Yankee Stadium in New York City.
The footage showed Beyoncé using clippers on her husband while they sat in the bleachers of the empty stadium. Organisers played the video during the opening weekend of the concert run.
Jay-Z launched the shows with performances centred on his albums “Reasonable Doubt” and “The Blueprint.” The concerts marked the end of his three-decade recording career.

The haircut followed an earlier appearance connected to Beyoncé’s haircare brand, Cécred. In a June campaign, she helped Jay-Z get his locs combed out after 8 years.
