BET Awards 2026 winners included Cardi B, Doechii, SZA and Kehlani on Sunday night, while Lauryn Hill received the Living Legend Icon Award in Los Angeles.
The ceremony, hosted by Druski, aired live from the Peacock Theatre and recognised major names across music and culture.
Cardi B won Best Female Hip-Hop Artist after releasing “Am I the Drama?”, her first full-length album since “Invasion of Privacy” in 2018.
In her acceptance speech, Cardi B said the award meant “so much” after she overcame fear and anxiety to release the album.
Doechii and SZA won the BET Her Award for “Girl, Get Up.” Doechii thanked SZA for supporting her throughout the recording process.
SZA replied, “Anything for you, always”. Kehlani won Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and said the result caught her off guard.

Hill received the Living Legend Icon Award during one of the night’s major tribute moments.
The tribute featured The War and Treaty, Doechii, SZA, Tierra Whack, Tems, Doja Cat, Nas, Lizzo, Rapsody, Alexia Jayy, Queen Latifah, Common and Hill’s children, Selah, Joshua “YG” and Zion Marley.
