Music producer Benny Blanco reflected on his marriage to singer and actor Selena Gomez on September 15, joking about whether she had chosen the right husband as their first anniversary approaches.
During an appearance on “Today with Jenna & Sheinelle,” Blanco, 38, told Jenna Bush Hager that married life with Gomez, 34, had felt natural and described his wife as his best friend.
Blanco said the first year had passed quickly and that he and Gomez complement each other easily. He then joked that he still sometimes asks himself whether she had “picked the right guy.”
The couple married on September 27, 2025, in Santa Barbara, California, and will mark their first wedding anniversary later this month. Rapper and comedian Lil Dicky, whose real name is David Burd, officiated the ceremony.

Blanco has also said the couple plans a low-key anniversary after months of travel, including eating a saved piece of their wedding cake and potentially revisiting speeches from their ceremony.
