Belgium, Australia and India won their respective matches in the Men’s Field Hockey World Cup played at Netherlands’ capital The Hague Belgium thrashed Spain 5-2 to win their match yesterday.
Meanwhile, India beat Malaysia 3-2 in the World Cup encounter.
On the other hand, Australia gave a 5-0 hammering to England yesterday.
Australia made a rampant start to the match as Matt Gohdes scored in the first minute whereas Liam de Young doubled the lead in the 13th minute. Jamie Dwyer made it 3-0 in the 29th minute while Kieran Govers scored the fourth for the Australians on the brink of 35th minute.
Aran Zalewski put the final nail in the coffin as he netted the fifth in the 38th minute.
