The Sindh Building Control Authority’s (SBCA) corrupt practices, the Director General (DG) made a bold step to suspend seven officers from the institution this Thursday.

A formal notification was issued by the DG of SBCA detailing the names of those suspended due to their alleged involvement in corrupt activities. Leading the list are Assistant Directors Rashid A. Narejo and Riaz Hussain. Following them are Aasif Sheikh, Abdul Sami Sheikh, and Shahryar Maqsood. These five individuals have been in key positions within the organization, and their suspension highlights the seriousness of the action.

Adding to this list, Building Inspector Kamran Hussain and Muhammad Yaqoob have also been temporarily relieved from their duties pending further investigations.

The suspensions are a testament to the SBCA’s commitment to maintain its integrity. By taking such strict actions against its officials, the SBCA signifies its dedication towards a transparent and accountable operation. The decision underscores an ongoing mission within the SBCA to eliminate corrupt practices and ensure that all activities under its purview are conducted honestly and forthrightly.
