A suicide car bomb explosion targeted a police checkpoint in Baghdad yesterday , killing at least 22 people and wounding 45, police sources said.
The suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at an entrance to the northwestern neighbourhood of Kadhimiyah, a police colonel and an interior ministry official told the media
