Sindh High Court (SHC) orders no more cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Senator Azam Swati in the issue of the controversial tweets.

Inspector General of Sindh Police Ghulam Nabi Memon apologized to the court for his previous comments.

Sindh P.G. Faiz Shah told the SHC that Islamabad Police have custody of Swati as cases are “C-class,” and Swati had been discharged in over 30 cases across the province, all categorized as “C class.”

Justice Karim Khan Agha praised the IG Memon and the Sindh government for handling the “issue.”

IGP Ghulam Nabi Memon of the Sindh Police apologized to the court for his remarks at the prior hearing.

The court directed that no other FIR should be registered against Azam Swati in the case.
