The Ministry of Defense has confirmed to the court that Khurshid Ahmad, a missing individual from Azad Kashmir, is currently detained under military custody on charges of espionage.
The revelation came after Islamabad High Court Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani ordered an inquiry into Ahmad’s whereabouts. The Additional Attorney General disclosed that Ahmad had been apprehended on accusations of spying.
Justice Kayani noted that Ahmad’s location is now known, and legal proceedings can be pursued through the appropriate legal channels.
