Rawalpindi: Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi bench has ordered for registration of attempt to murder case against IG Jails Punjab and Superintendent Adiala Jail.
The police has registered the case under the orders of court and started action against the two officers.
A single bench of LHC Rawalpindi bench comprising Justice Arshid Mehmood Tabassum took up for hearing petition filed by Nazim Shah employee in the office of IG Jails seeking registration of case against IG Jails Punjab and Superintendent Adiala Jail today.
The petitioner Nazim Shah took the plea in the petition that IG Jails Punjab Mian Farooq Nazir and superintendent Adiala Jail Malik Mushtaq attempted to kill him.
“I gave an application to police station bairooni for registration of case against these two officers but police has neither registered the case on his application nor his complaint has been addressed. Therefore, I have resorted to court to seek justice”, he prayed.
He further requested the court to register the case against these two officers, initiate action against them and provide protection to him.
