Karachi: Ejaz Ahmad Khan has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Karachi, after his predecessor Asif Haider Shah was dismissed from the post.
According to details, a notification to appoint Ejaz Ahmad Khan as the new Commissioner of Karachi has already been passed. Sources disclosed that Asif Haider Shah, the former Commissioner of Karachi Asif Haider Shah had been dismissed since he had differences with a member of the Sindh cabinet.
Asif Haider Shah had also served as the Commissioner of Hyderabad before he was made Commissioner of Karachi. Sources have also disclosed that he was dismissed since he had developed differences with the Local Bodies minister.
