A$AP Rocky backlash grew online after a video from his Phoenix concert showed the rapper making a sexual comment to women in the crowd.
The clip came from his June 23 stop at the Mortgage Matchup Centre in Phoenix, Arizona, during the “Don’t Be Dumb Tour,” according to Sportskeeda.
In the video, A$AP Rocky told women in the audience that they did not know him when he was single, before making the explicit remark.
Social media users criticised the comment as disrespectful to Rihanna and objectifying toward women. Some users also pointed to Rihanna’s public support for the rapper during his recent legal troubles, according to The Tab.
