Recent revelations have raised questions about the sincerity of Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa’s donation of land near Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Ziarat.
Asadullah Khan has pointed out that Justice Isa owns substantial properties in Karachi and Lahore’s DHA, each measuring 800 and 200 square yards and valued at millions.
Kismat Khan suggests that if Justice Isa genuinely intends to serve the nation, he should consider donating these valuable plots to the government rather than engaging in what he describes as a publicity stunt with the Ziarat land, which was reportedly already under government control.
Further scrutiny reveals that, according to his asset declaration 2020, a significant portion of the land Justice Isa inherited in Ziarat was under unauthorized government occupation.
The controversy prompts questions about whether this is the same plot he donated and when it was retrieved from government control. This situation casts a shadow over the donation and sparks a broader discussion about the transparency and motives behind such gestures.
