Rajat Bedi, who plays Jaraj Saxena in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut Bastards of Bollywood, confirmed on September 27, 2025, that Season 2 is in development. In a News18 interview, Bedi said, “Season two is happening. It’s in the works. I’m hopeful audiences will see more of me.”

Bedi shared how Aryan Khan personally approached him for the role. “In December 2022, I got a call while in Canada. Aryan wanted to meet me,” he recalled. Meeting in Mumbai on December 21-22, Aryan was “very nervous” but insisted Bedi was his only choice for Jaraj Saxena. “If I didn’t do the role, he wouldn’t have this character,” Bedi added, feeling honoured to join Aryan’s first venture.

Bedi described the series as life-changing. “My life took a U-turn. I’m getting love from around the world,” he said. “It feels like the sun is shining bright.” The global success of the series, streaming on Netflix, underscores its cultural impact.

The series features Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba, Gautami Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, and Anya Singh. Cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, Emraan Hashmi, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Karan Johar add star power, boosting its appeal.

Aryan Khan’s directorial debut has made waves, with “Bastards of Bollywood” trending in Netflix’s top 10 globally (as of 2025). Season 2’s confirmation fuels excitement, cementing Aryan’s rising influence in Bollywood. Bedi’s story highlights the series’s transformative reach.

Rajat Bedi’s confirmation of Bastards of Bollywood Season 2 keeps the buzz alive. Aryan Khan’s vision, along with the stellar cast, promises more drama.
