Pakistani actor Arslan Butt denied harassment allegations by actor Mamya Shajaffar during a podcast appearance and said the matter would be answered in court.
Butt made the remarks on the “Voice of Click Me Pakistan” podcast. He called the claims baseless and described the allegation as “extremely disgusting.”
The actor questioned why Shajaffar had not raised the allegations earlier. He also asked why she had not taken legal action at the time.

“Why me? Why didn’t she speak up four years ago? Why was she silent?” Butt said during the interview.
Butt said a family member would have sought justice immediately if such an incident had occurred.
He also suggested the controversy may have served a publicity purpose. Butt said someone may have wanted to “cash in” if a film or project was in the works.

The dispute has drawn attention in Pakistan’s entertainment industry after Shajaffar accused Butt of inappropriate behaviour. Butt has denied the allegation.
